As a result, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is taking steps to reduce emissions by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the air, including reducing the amount of methane that is released in the air, and by lowering the amount of the greenhouse gas methane from diesel vehicles (diesel engines) and gasoline-powered vehicles (diesel vehicles). This is the first of three steps to achieving a Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) for all fuels sold in California.

According to the Los Angeles Times, CARB is working with the state of California's transportation commissioner, Richard LaBriesant, to set up a pilot program to meet CARB's LCFS requirements. The pilot program will begin in June, the Los Angeles Times reports, and the pilot program will run until 2020. The pilot program will require that all gasoline and diesel cars and truck engines with 20 percent or more of their fuel from petroleum "fuel" be on the LCFS list "by 2025," and all engines with less than 10 percent of their fuel from petroleum "fuel" be on the LCFS list "until 2050."

California has already started using some of its existing LCFS lists. However, all fuel from petroleum "fuel" must be on the LCFS list by 2025.

If it is not feasible to maintain or expand the LCFS list while California's economy continues to grow, then it is time for the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to set the goal of reducing the carbon intensity of all transportation fuels by 2020.

According to the LA Times, California's low carbon fuel standards will be adopted without delay after the state is set to adopt them by 2030.If you like your video games, you should do your own copy of the game itself and start with the original.
