Last night, in the wake of the announcement that he was leaving the Conservative party, Duffy made a number of statements that were just as clear. He claimed that the Conservative Party had "gone to war" with the NDP on the whole because it opposed the Conservative party's anti-terror policy. He continued by accusing the Liberal Party of playing politics with the electorate. And he used the Liberals as a cover to attack the Conservative party by calling them a gang of "vultures".

This is not, he promised, the end of the Liberal party.
