In many cases, films do make the cut, but there

In many cases, films do make the cut, but there are plenty of good ones for everyone. We'll give each of the top 10 films of 2018, with the caveat that some of them may not make it in time to make a final post.

One of the best known documentaries: The Making of the Transformers: Age of Extinction by Tom Holland (The Lion King, Prometheus, Alien, Blade Runner, and The Hunger Games)

There are a lot of fun and unique things about the Transformers movies, but they're not the kind of movie that makes us feel all-too-well, like it's a bit of a mystery. This film is a testament to the ingenuity of the team behind the Transformers, and the creative direction we're taking with this film. It's a tough, scary, weird, and downright bizarre story that will leave you shaking your head at the sheer number of movies out there.

One of the best documentaries: The Grand Hologram by Steven Spielberg (2001: A Space Odyssey)

We were fortunate enough to catch a great documentary from Spielberg, and this is a great one. It's a tale of a young Autobot who travels to Mars to save his parents from an impending disaster. The film follows the journey of Tasha, a young woman in the midst of life, through the dark times of her parents' relationship to their children.
