The Arizona Public Service said today that it will invest
The Arizona Public Service said today that it will invest $10 million to develop and build 1,000 MW of solar storage and 100 MW of storage solar panels to support the state's power grid.
The purchase will be done in the most efficient way possible, with APS's efforts to build battery storage and battery storage panels that could be installed at existing facilities.
"This is a critical milestone for Arizona, as we have already installed nearly 1,000 megawatts of storage in Arizona," Mike Fussell, APS's CEO, said in a release. "Arizona is in the midst of its greatest solar power transition in US history. While Arizona's power generation capacity is limited through this purchase, APS is determined to build on our strong commitment and our great relationships with other state and local utilities to bring Arizona's power grid to the next level."
The California-based utility also announced its support of the Arizona Department of Energy (DOE) through a loan program backed by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The loan program is expected to bring additional solar power to the state's power grid by 2021.I don't think I should have been so mad at a bunch of guys who didn't even have an idea what they were doing, because when they did, they were so damn good. I don't want to be that dude who's a big jerk and takes all the shit and then thinks he's the one who's done it. It's all just a bunch of guys who didn't know what they were doing and then went and did it. It's all just a bunch of jerk-ass, jerk-ass dickheads who get everything in the bag. It's been a big year for the UFC. The UFC is taking a huge hit in the fight scene, and the company is currently making some big moves to get back on track.
In the past few weeks, the company has been doing things like releasing some promo videos, and putting out a new MMA fight set to promote the upcoming UFC 200 pay-per-view. But now, in a surprise move, UFC President Dana White has announced that the UFC will be making a major move toward a new promotion, and it's the No. 3 contender in his division.
According to Dana, UFC Fight Night 33 will take place Aug. 10 in Las Vegas. UFC Fight Night 35 will be the only big thing going forward, but there's already been an announcement that they will be making a bigger push as well.
