The company's CEO, David Kappel, added a "big caveat" to the company's announcement: "We do not intend to allow overseas voting."

A spokesperson for Voatz told CNN that it expects to begin testing in the fall. That's when it will begin to see if it can make the election security a reality.

Voatz's new mobile voting system looks very similar to a mobile voting system, which uses a mobile voting platform called a mobile voter app. The app allows users to vote online, which Voatz says results in "more secure, more accurate, and cheaper elections."

The software is designed to allow voters to cast a ballot online for three months. The process can take anywhere between seven and 18 hours, according to Voatz.

That's an unprecedented number for a technology that has a significant market share among election security enthusiasts.

"We're very proud to be part of this project and look forward to seeing what the other companies are up to," said Larry Hesse, Voatz's chief technology officer. "You can't say you're on the top of the pile for your security. That doesn't mean you don't have security issues. The whole point of voting is to provide an efficient way to vote."

The company also plans to provide its mobile voting systems to U.S. presidential candidates, as well, such as Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley, according to Voatz's CEO.

"We want to make sure we're not just doing the election security, we're doing the election security for all of our customers," Hall said. "We want to make sure that we do it in a way that makes it a more efficient process."

As with other technology companies, Voatz is trying to move beyond the mobile voting system.

"One of the big things we're doing is putting out an information security product called SecureVote," said Voatz's CEO, John Tung. "We're working with a number of other companies, from Intel to the Google and Microsoft, and we think that's a great opportunity."

The technology is not being used by any other security firm, according to Hall.

The company has been testing the security of voting for 10 years.

And the company is still trying to establish its own systems that won't require users to cast a ballot online.
