The final decision is expected to be announced this week.
The final decision is expected to be announced this week. It is likely some of the plant owners will be on the hook for some of the payments they will be receiving from the TVA. A statement from TVA says: "The two companies have agreed to a contract that will require TVA to pay $1.6 billion for the remaining $1.36 billion in annual operating cost, and $1.8 billion in interest payments on the remaining $1.68 billion. This is expected to reduce TVA's net operating cost by about $500 million. In addition, the amount of each additional payment will increase to $2.6 billion. The total cost of the new units will also be $2.5 billion; this will increase the cost of the remaining units by $3.7 billion. This will also decrease the number of units owned by the owners of the existing units."
In addition, the TVA will have to pay $4.6 billion if they retire the plants.
TVA's decision comes after the Tennessee State Senate rejected a proposal to give the utility greater control of how it uses its power. The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.
"To be honest, I don't know if I'm going to be able to pay for this thing all by myself," said Jon Krakauer, who helped draft the bill and is now working on it. "I know there's going to be a lot of people who are concerned about it. But I don't think this is that big of a deal because they're going to be able to pay for it as it stands right now."
The TVA board has two options to take over the two power plants. It has two options to close them. One option would be to buy back the existing coal plants, which would save $50 million a year. The other options would be to buy back the old coal plants, which would save $120 million this year.
The board has yet to decide which option it would take.Pep Guardiola has admitted to the Daily Star that he would not have chosen Liverpool over Manchester United if he had known it was going to be the final game of the season.
Speaking at the Spanish club's media briefing ahead of their Champions League qualifying match against Real Madrid on Sunday, Guardiola said: "If you want to talk about the final game of the season, that's the best team you can give.
"If you want to talk about the second game, that's the
