The Galaxy Book2 has a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 845 processor, an Adreno 280 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and 128GB of internal memory with dual-SIM support. It has one of the fastest 4K displays available on the market, and boasts a 16MP rear camera. Android 8.0 Oreo arrives from Google in the U.S. and in Europe sometime in the next few months.
In the meantime, the tablet is a good example of a new form factor being launched right now, and it's not just the new tablets that need to gain ground. The Galaxy Book2 comes with a built-in keyboard and an 8GB of RAM. While you can't quite use it as a keyboard, it's still capable of playing popular games like Call of Duty and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
In fact, there are no major changes to the keyboard that are new for the Galaxy Book2. Instead, the keyboard is the same way the keyboard on the original Galaxy Tablet: The first key is a 3.5mm diameter to accommodate the bigger screen. The second key also has the same diameter as the first.
In terms of the specs, the Galaxy Book2 is powered by a 128GB internal storage, a 6,400 mAh battery, and 64GB of internal memory. The Galaxy Book2 weighs in at over 2lbs, making it quite light on your hand—at least, when it comes to weight. The Galaxy Book2 comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core 2.60GHz Intel Atom Z3720 processor with 2GB of RAM, 2GB of RAM, and a 4.5MP rear camera. The company has said that the device will ship in early 2013. Pricing at the time is $599 for a single unit and $649 for a two-unit model. Both models, if you purchase the new Galaxy Book2, are set for January 2013.
