The new Portal+ is the same as the current Portal+
The new Portal+ is the same as the current Portal+ and a touch-screen, too, but its speaker sits at the top edge; it's not entirely clear when, exactly, the device will be paired with Facebook Messenger. The device is expected to be available later this year, but we'll have to wait and see.
Update: Apple has announced the new Alexa Voice Assistant, which, according to Apple is an "amazing new feature that will let you create and manage your own voice chats" for Apple's new Apple TV, and you can see it in action below.
