The third is coming to Europe in early January - and for reasons that are still unknown - for use in cars and trucks as well as the production of some of the most expensive natural gas ever produced in the world.
While the plant was completed in 2013, it's already received a $50 million contract from the US Department of Energy that could cost it more than $7 million. But with the new project, the company has made progress on its goal: "Climeworks plans to capture carbon to make more fuel for the next 100 years," reports Forbes . "As a result of the recent completion of the first phase of the second C-Series, Climeworks is planning to be able to use that capacity in the next 100 years."
A lot has changed since the start of this project, but we're still seeing a lot of carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels in most of our industrialized land.
The new Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) plant in the United Arab Emirates is now a full-size solar photovoltaic plant that will take up to 20 years to generate electricity, according to Bloomberg . "We've had quite a bit of success in generating solar photovoltaic (PV) over this period," said CCS director-general Janaa Al-Wadi. "We are already seeing a substantial change in the use of thermal energy by solar PV. We are now the first large-scale project in Egypt that uses thermal energy."
With the new CCS plant, the US Department of Energy can now build a new battery for use in the grid, to generate electricity when the battery has enough power to store 50,000 units. "I think that's great," said Al-Wadi, "but it's a bit more complicated than how we are now generating power."

The Spanish international, who is out for at least three months and is in a contract holdout at Real Madrid, said he would return to Madrid if both sides are not on the same page.
Real are said to be in talks with the club over a £60million deal for the 22-year-old, who is currently on holiday with his family in the Caribbean after his move to Chelsea from Paris Saint-Germ
