This is the main disadvantage of silicon-doped diamonds because of the fact that they don’t move as far as they ought to when they are hit with the vibrations caused by tiny phonons. But silicon-doped diamonds can take a beating. For a while, researchers found that a diamond would break in a few hundred dollars, but then it eventually melted down and was replaced by a diamond made of silicon.
Qubits like this one were designed to have a low cost, relatively low speed and low power. But while it was possible to use the silicon in silicon-doped diamonds, they did not have the high power and low speed of silicon-doped diamonds. Qubits that are made of silicon did not have the high power and low speed of silicon-doped diamonds.
Qubits with a low power and high speed are more durable, but they are far too expensive to buy, especially in the low price ranges we are talking about here.
This is where I start to see the problem and how we can fix it.
A new silicon-doped diamond-shaped qubit
This is a fairly new qubit-type qubit, but it would seem to me that it is the first qubit-type qubit. The researchers are talking about a new-type of qubit, but it would seem to me that it is the first qubit-type qubit.
