This video is taken from a White House postcard of Trump's White House Correspondents' Dinner, and it shows the president talking to his chief of staff, who is in his 30s.

The White House then takes to the microphone again, and that's when Acosta comes in. Acosta was not present when he was asked how many seconds Acosta would allow him to pause. He replied, 'Five or six,' and then said, 'I think you should be prepared for that.' Acosta then looked at his phone and said, 'I think it's been a long day and I want to talk about what happened.' This was the same video of the time the White House circulated a doctored video of an interaction between CNN reporter Jim Acosta and a White House intern in which an Obama White House intern was interviewed after he was shot and killed by a police officer.

Another clip of the same exchange was captured on a White House postcard by The New York Times.

The White House sent a photo of Acosta, and then a few other officials, to The New York Times. The president called the Times a "distraction" and said an "accidental" video of the exchange was circulated, "which I believe was a bad idea, that I don't know of." The Times then used the photo as a promotional campaign.

Trump tweeted that Trump was "not in the room with Acosta" on the same day as the White House circulated Acosta's doctored video.

Trump also called Acosta to apologize for his actions.
