The policy has also been changed to provide some guidance on how to remove videos that are offensive or disturbing, but not offensive. While YouTube's official policy on nudity is unclear, it is clear that such videos are prohibited under certain circumstances, such as when an employee is involved in an employee action, or when an employee is subjected to extreme emotional distress. There are various ways to limit content such as being "dangerous or disturbing," but the company has created its own guidelines for what qualifies as dangerous or disturbing.

If the video is not harmful or disturbing, the video is allowed to be removed, but it also can be removed in a way that is respectful of the child's or adult's privacy.

For example, if the video is about a woman's death, it may not be removed, but the adult video will. This allows people who don't live in the United States to remove the video, but will be a little harder to remove if a child or adult is involved in a domestic violence situation.
