The new Microsoft Mobile app is built on Microsoft's own mobile operating system. You can use the app to add more content to a Windows 10 PC through the use of a program called "Projection," which helps you see the content of your computer as you type. The UI is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, but it also provides you with the ability to open tabs, access your contacts lists, and create and edit notes and documents via a single click.
If you don't have Office Mobile yet, you can download it for free, though there's still no word on when it will be available for free on Windows Phone.
As Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8.1 get closer to the release of Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft is working on what it calls "mobile desktop apps," or MWP apps. Mobile apps for Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Mobile are all built using the new Windows 10 Mobile framework, but MWP apps are only available on Windows 10 Mobile Mobile.
So what exactly are these mobile desktop apps, and how do these applications have to work with Office Mobile? Here's what we know so far about them.
The Microsoft Mobile app development is a pretty standard practice for Windows Phone development and is largely an attempt to provide desktop apps that work together well to improve on Office Mobile.
MWP apps are built by Microsoft and were developed by a group of developers who made their living using Microsoft's proprietary Office apps. The MWP apps allow developers to develop and test apps for Windows 10 Mobile, and a few of the MWP applications were also developed by developers who worked with Microsoft and used them as background apps for Office Mobile.
When Microsoft moved forward with Office Mobile, it did so to allow developers to work on Windows 10 Mobile apps at a faster pace. This made it easier for developers to develop new apps than to build a large number of apps from scratch. The MWP apps are more familiar to developers using Office, but they're still a bit more powerful than what's available in Office Mobile.
Now, Microsoft says it's working on ways to make desktop apps work with Office Mobile, and it's looking forward to working with developers to see what they can do to improve the experience.
The MWP apps also support a number of other features, including:
The MWP app has its own built-in "Notebook Mode"
