"We're moving to an era where we're not going to be in the business of having a bunch of servers all over the world," Zelnick said. "It's a situation where we're not going to have a whole bunch of servers all over the world. There is a lot of competition, and it's going to take some of those servers to compete."
Zelnick said the streaming business has a "very large market" that, in addition to the big names in the industry, includes video games, music and the Internet. With the Internet now having become more and more ubiquitous, it means more people will be able to play games on those servers for free, but the question is how will that drive down the time it takes for people to pay for those games?
Zelnick said that while streaming games are "a thing of the past," they are not "just going to continue to be the business model of the future." The fact that streaming games are being built into a major player in the online gaming world means it is the same game at large that is played on the same servers on the same servers, and is likely just the tip of that iceberg of games that are available in the future.
Zelnick said that while he believes there is room for a "major player" in the gaming world, he said there are still a few players who are "somewhat behind the curve."
"I think the most important thing is that we start to see the world develop with a lot of players that are willing to contribute to the game," Zelnick said.
Zelnick said that the biggest player in the future of gaming is the Xbox One, which will be launched in early 2016. The console is capable of playing games on any of Microsoft's servers, but only at the largest video game markets, as well as the smaller ones like the PC and PlayStation 4.
Zelnick said that while he doesn't have a definite date on when the Xbox One will be available, he does believe that it will be at least a year and a half before the Xbox One's launch. That's a huge development time for developers, but the game is already well behind the Xbox One as a streaming gaming title.
"But I think we're getting to a point where there is no longer a need for [a dedicated] video game server or a dedicated console for the Xbox One," Zelnick said.
Zelnick said that while the Xbox One and console have many strengths, one of
