When Windows was announced three years ago, Windows Phone was still only a smartphone. The company had promised to launch 10 million devices in the first year, but it took a generation to hit the milestone. Windows 10 is now more than nine years old. While the initial support could be a success for Windows Phone, it's really just a start. There are more than 4 trillion devices already in the market—a billion and counting. Windows 10 will help users to keep up with what's coming.

Image source: MicrosoftI've been a lot of things lately, and I know the list isn't comprehensive. I know a few things, and I also know the people who do most of the talking. The only thing I ever really know is that some of the words I wrote for these posts and in these posts do tend to be a little over-the-top. If you're reading this (or more) and don't like what I'm saying, do yourself a favor and read my other posts instead.

That being said, I'm very glad to see people getting excited about my ideas, and I really feel like this year it's time for some big changes.
